Here we go!!

Well this is my first post.... hmmm what to say.  Well lets start off with I'm glad to finally be home! it's been a looooooong 4 weeks at work and a crazy one at that. We started in our new Cottage 2 weeks ago. The place is nice and the girls are nice too, most of them need to see how a mother and father are suppose to treat a child. The backgrounds that most of these girls come from are far from loving. Which is a shame and makes me so angry at times that a person who has been given the blessing of a child can just be so hateful and cruel. The one thing that is different with working with these girls is we only have them for at least 30 days and the most is 90 days. We do miss our girls at Kennedy Home. we also miss the staff there too. When we left i sent out an e-mail and in the e-mail God laid on my heart a section of scripture to share with our friends and it is so true that I want to close with it here so that if you to are in the ministry in one way or another we can support each other!!

"I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you, always praying with joy for all of you in my every prayer, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart, and you are all partners with me in grace..."
